Here’s what the book is about:
Steve James is divorced, depressed, and stuck working soul-sucking factory shifts in a life he’s desperate to escape. He numbs the pain with wine and lives in the shadows of the stories he writes—fan fiction based on Death Touch, his favorite anime.
He thinks his ADHD is a curse. What he doesn’t realize is that it’s also the spark of something powerful.
Then, on the night of his thirty-first birthday, he meets Kym Sweet.
She’s witty, stunning, sassy—and obsessed with his writing. Finally, someone sees him. Listens to him. Encourages him to write again.
So he does.
Three stories. Three deaths.
And Kym wants to hear every – bloody – detail!
But the more he writes, the more blurred the line between fiction and reality becomes. Because Steve’s stories aren’t just therapy anymore. They might be something far more dangerous.
